After two years the water heater still works flawlessly. It’s still a great product at an even better price than when I bought it.
works better than i hoped. works better than Coleman tankless water heater, which i have also, and cost way less. you could mount this in your home, but i have it mounted on my boat. set it and turn it on [once].When the flow of water stops it shuts off and when the flow start again it fires back up, you don’t have to reset it again and again like the Coleman. runs off of 2 D batteries this is what i have been looking for. makes my boat hot water system, just like home. plan on getting a nother for my 38 ft. sail boat too.
We’ve been using this for an outdoor shower near the pool and it works perfectly. I was worried that the water flow would be insufficient, but there is plenty of volume and plenty of heat. We run the heat at less than max since it gets the water very hot. The instant on feature as soon as water is flowing is great. We’ve been using it several times a day since April and it’s still on the original tank of propane so they last a while. We live off grid, and have had a tankless propane water heater in the house for years. We also have a barn with horses and their care often requires warm or hot water. My wife has been asking for hot water in the Barn, and this unit has worked out wonderfully for us.
This tankless heater is a wonderful solution to a cool problem. My wife and I have purchased a small farm with (currently) no amenities. Being able to take a warm albeit outdoor shower is a precious gift at the end of a dirty day. The installation was marvelously simple and the unit worked without a hitch right out of the box.
This product does exactly what it advertises! Hot water is produced instantly and is endless. I am very happy with my purchase.
Purchased this for a mobile hand wash sink that is required by FL Dept of AG. Put it on the side of a Craftsman tool box that was modified. Inspector loved it. Instant hot water! Don’t like the vent deflector on the top can’t be permanently attached as the instructions say though.
We’ll see how it holds up in the next few months.

There are also some instances when accompanying fittings have threads that doesn’t match with the adapters and hoses, making installation bit more complicated.

i have just installed one, it works prttey good, but it is delicate, so be cafe when tightening the lines. i snaped the gas input pipe and had to order a new one. it heats prttey good you just need to play around with the controls. it doesnt heat instantly though it takes about 3 to 5 minutes to heat fully. its start really quickly and the battery is for the electronic igniter. id recommend if you cant afford a better brand,
Wolfkatt-I think he means that if there is no power, there will be no pumps to pump the water through the lines so it can reach the water hetaer. I have one of these units incidentally. Works well, is efficient, only negative is that it’s designed for outdoor use so it is very hot on top and unsafe to install indoors unless you rig up your own vent system.
